Chapter 1

A story teller is a life-poet, an artist translating inner life and outer life into a poem whose rhyme scheme is events rather than words.

A screenplay is equivalent to a novel in terms of story just more dense

Each scene should have one main “value”(binary concept) at stake, and each scene should flip the charge of that value (from immoral to moral etc) otherwise it is a non event

Exposition is not in itself a scene and can otherwise be included in a scene that matters
