Chapter 2 : How Does it Work Again?

Arthur stood and waited.
Morrigan usually had all the answers, and yet she was silent.

"Have you tried to use it yet?" Morrigan asks.

"Are you kidding? What would I use it against here, my homework assignments?"

Morrigans hands began filtering through imaginary books and pages in the air, as though she were in a library right there in the forest.
Arthur felt nervous.
Morrigan only went to her Mind's Library when she needed a very powerful spell, or when she says "I feel a danger approaching on the wind."
Arthur looked at the Shield he had laid on the ground beside him.
Arthur could hear a quiet humming coming from the shield, the tune his father would hum when they went on their walks to the forest.
